Who are the PESO Clients?
The following persons are considered to be Public Employment Service Office (PESO) clients;
- Displaced Workers
- Job Applicants
- Labor Market Information Users
- Migrant Workers
- Out of School Youth
- Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
- Returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)
PESO coordinates well with different government and private organizations to ensure employability for every Filipino. Students and Out-of-School-Youths are also given the opportunity to work during their school breaks like Christmas and summer. Many Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) have proven themselves qualified for employment. Returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) are being integrated back to the working society here in the Philippines.
How to avail of PESO Services?
Job applicants may personally go to PESO in their respective provincial, city, municipal, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), Community based Organizations (CBOs) or State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) for registration and employment interview.
Employers may inform the nearest PESO about their vacancies for job matching, while LMI Users, Planners and Researchers may inquire personally and secure available materials at the PESO nearest their location.
