TISOK’s Simpleng Handog para sa mga Kabayan

Triskelion International State of Kuwait (TISOK) recently made another volunteer program for distressed OFWs at Hateen Shelter of the Philippine Embassy via Boodle Fight.

Boodle Fight is actually a military style of eating in which long tables are used and food to be shared is placed on top of banana leaves. Neither spoon nor fork is used in eating – just clean, bare hands and when the signal to start the boodle fight sounds off, everyone secures his / her spot for “eating combat”.

Triskelion Prayer was headed by Mr. Jan Luzuriaga and Invocation by Ms. Weng Miguel. Respect accorded to the National Anthems of the Philippines and Kuwait are integral part of every community program. Consul General Atty. Raul H. Dado conveyed his motivational message for everyone at this important event.

Other important guests were Labor Attache I-OWWA, Ms. Angelita S. Narvaez, Ms. Maxxy Santiago of TFC and ABS CBN Middle East, and the very active Mr. Francisco Jaranilla shared his inspirational message as well.

This event significantly called Boodle Fight: Simpleng Handog para kay Kabayan is TISOK’s way of sharing their blessings with our fellow OFWs facing difficulties and a considerable amount of time and effort for happiness is very uplifting for them.
