Thikra Al-Rasheedi, Minister of the Social Affairs and Labor has been accused of piling up of about 2176 visiting visa applications for the last three months. Despite the exceptions that should be considered in granting visa applications, the Minister refused to sign for approval and left these cases pending for more than three long months.
Some representatives from other companies and businessmen have filed complaints regarding about the delay of the minister’s approval of applications since it was affecting their business sales and revenues.
Rule exceptions that must be considered include expats who have earned high academic consultants and qualifications. However, the minister refused to heed to these factors and rather refused to sign visa applications leaving these aggrieved business visitors hanging for a while.
