September 24th, key representatives from LBC Express WLL Kuwait have gathered forces and resources together and visited distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) at the Philippine Embassy shelter in Hateen.
Despite the unfortunate issues surrounding balikbayan boxes and other taxes to be imposed on OFWs, still, LBC Express WLL Kuwait is grateful for all the patronage and support of kabayans in trusting their branch for air and sea cargo. To return all the blessings bestowed upon the company, they visited fellow OFWs and gifted them with food, fun and gifts.
An Invocation to the Almighty started the program, followed by some sharing and encouraging words by the LBC Kuwait team for the OFWs at the shelter. Short interviews by the team never meant to pry on the OFWs personal lives but in order for them to understand better.
The games prepared by the team were intended to somehow ease the pressure, tension and stress the OFWs feel and gave them the much needed respite from struggles.
Being an OFW in any host country entails a lot of difficulties and has blessings too. LBC Express WLL Kuwait know all of these that is why to give back to fellow OFWs, they went to Hateen Shelter to give smiles to kabayans.
