LBC Denies the Accusation of Opening ‘Balikbayan Boxes’ in their Warehouse

Last August 30, a post on social media by a certain Ramon Lobo regarding LBC Express become viral online. Mr Lobo accused the cargo company of opening Balikbayan Boxesalong with photograph of allegedly LBC employees in their warehouse. He also added that the cargo company should be investigated.

Below is the official reply of LBC Management.

Dear Ka-LBC,

LBC Express firmly denies the accusation being circulated online, where a warehouse is depicted with employees supposedly opening cargo boxes & rifling through their contents.

Initial investigations have revealed that the warehouse depicted is owned and operated by a different cargo company and is based in Taiwan, not in Manila. Evidently, the persons in the photo are not LBC employees and likewise the boxes visible are not LBC boxes.
LBC holds true to its promise of security and safety for customers’ much-valued cargo, and follows a strict security protocol in line with international standards
