It’s February – the love month. Expect a lot of love to be shared, however, one women’s organization, the Ilokana Women’s Organization in Kuwait (IWOK) spreads love everyday as they prepare for charity. Recently, IWOK celebrated its First Founding Anniversary at Qasr Saraya Restaurant, Al Saraya Palace.

Ms. Trinidad Alzankawi, IWOK Founder shared her thoughts about the occasion;

“I thank God our Creator who makes all things possible for the good of His children, especially those that are financially – challenged. He finds instruments thru generous people to carry out His providential plans for the benefit of those in need.

Furthermore, I would like to thank our respected Consul General Atty. Raul Dado for he is always present to support our charity events and to the various organizations in Kuwait like Filipino Association for Music and Arts (FAMA), Light Benders, Global Ilocano and Kuwait Filipino Mothers Organization (KFMO), for their continuous support.

Most of all, to my co-officers, members and supporters of Ilokana Women’s Organization in Kuwait (IWOK), let us continue our advocacy because I believe that giving that comes from the heart will lead us to a successful charitable organization. My grateful appreciation to all who attended our First Founding Anniversary.

To Allah, all be the Glory!
