The Ilokana Women’s Organization in Kuwait (IWOK) continues to spread their charity advocacy as many recipients as they can include in their list and schedule. Their willingness to help and be of service to other people has been manifested again and again.
Since April, IWOK has been a steady partner of POLO / OWWA at the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait in giving livelihood training to distressed Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) about different aspects of Beauty Culture and Massage Therapy. IWOK believes that if given the proper training, these distressed OFWs will be able to earn a living when they will be repatriated to the Philippines.
Aside from hands on training by IWOK leaders, written exams were conducted as well. The trainings led to a very meaningful Salon 101graduation for the trainees.
