Salmiya Church is really blessed to have Fr. Ben Barrameda with them. This godly man has no doubt served as an inspiration for many Christian OFWs in Kuwait. Being away from home, having a spiritual family is really an encouragement for Filipinos here in Kuwait who are coping with the struggles of working abroad. Therefore, with Fr. Ben as a spiritual father, many have kept the faith and hope.
No wonder, many have joined Fr. Ben in his 10th priestly ordination anniversary celebration. Aside from the attendees of Salmiya Church, many Catholic organizations have also joined in. During the celebration mass, the celebrant has shared an inspiring message from God’s word which he connected to how blessed he is to have been serving the Lord for ten years now.
The said priest has also cracked a joke regarding his age, “Some of my friends are really thinking that I am already in my 40s! Look, let us do this in a right mathematical way. 2014 – 1975 = 39. Thanks Mam for teaching us on how to count correctly.”
Fr. Ben also shared a heart warming prayer, “Thank you so much O God for your blessings and merciful love for me and to all my fellow priests. My deep gratitude also to all who prayed, supported and wished me during my birthday last month while out of Kuwait and recent 10th priestly ordination anniversary celebration. With prayers, Father Ben.”
After the mass, many extended their greetings to Fr. Ben. Others also gave their personal thankful messages.
