In many contracts for expatriate workers here in Kuwait, it is stated to either live in accommodation or to live out. Many whose work contracts stipulate that their living quarters will be provided for by the employer, the expatriate workers expect to have healthy living conditions.
But in Al Dajeej, the opposite happened to less than 35 expatriate workers who are cramped in two bedroom quarters with only a single bathroom. After their situation was investigated, the authorities saw all the basis for their complaints as true and their employer was ordered to improve his workers’ living conditions or else, he will be up for suspension.
