Election 2016: Philippine Ambassadors and Consular Officials Meet in Doha-Qatar
Chiefs of Mission and Consuls General of the different Philippine embassies in the Middle East and Africa meet in Qatar last 8-12 April 2014 in preparation for voter registrations for the 2016 Presidential elections. One million new OFW registrants are encouraged to sign up worldwide and become new voters, and most of those new voters are from the Middle East region.
Philippine Embassy in Kuwait are represented by Consul General Raul Dado and the team of Ms. Rem Alcazar and Mr. Jay Gaddi.
As in all countries, Filipinos in KUWAIT will register beginning next month, to maximize our voting power. We need to elect good government officials and to do this, we need to register. It’s the right time to renew our commitment to good governance.
