61 Distressed OFWs Coming Home from Kuwait

Kuwait: Sixty-one of more than hundred distressed OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) that temporarily sheltered at the office of the POLO-OWWA in Kuwait are traveling back home, and expected to be reunited with their family. They are repatriated last Thursday, 21st of May at around 5pm.

The move is in line with on-going mutual cooperation with the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait and the Kuwait government on human rights with the help of the newly assigned Consul General in Kuwait, Atty. Raul Dado.
